When Terry first came to our house to give an estimate for replacing our siding, he cut my boyfriend off and told him that after many years of marriage, it would be wise to let me speak. I understand that it was a sweet gesture directed towards me, but having just met us, it was rude and very unprofessional.

I had once again called Terry, leaving a message, and apologized for making the mistake of not going with him and asked him if he could come and finish the job. He never called me back. I tried calling again and a woman answered the phone. She was rude, but she put me on hold so I could speak to Terry. She came back and said that he remembered me, was MAD that I didn’t go with him originally, and didn’t want to just clean up someone else’s mistakes. In the middle of my shocked response, she then just hung up.

However, my boyfriend and I are a team and we were trading off telling him what we needed help with so that we didnt miss anything. Unfortunately, we never saw their work ethic and needless to say we did not ask them to come back to finish the job once we got the remaining materials in. Aside from a few little side things, all that was left was installing a bathroom window and putting up a small section of siding. He never called me back. After a few days I tried calling again and a woman answered the phone. She was pretty rude immediately, but she put me on hold so I could speak to Terry. After a few seconds of hearing muffled talking she came back and said that he remembered me, was mad that I didnt go with him originally, and didnt want to just clean up someone elses mistakes. In the middle of my shocked response, she then just hung up.The first time I met Terry I gave him my moms business card. Shes a realtor and is always needing contractors to help her clients with jobs. Letting pride get in the way and very poor business tactics just lost Terry a great deal of business, not only from us for other future jobs we have, but from her and everyone she knows, which I can promise is a lot of people.
