I took my wife and children their and the service was amazing the food was extremely delicious I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to enjoy an authentic Italian meal.

Great family owned restaurant voted Best in the Region 2009 and Reader's Choice Award. Chicago style Italian restaurant domiciled in an historic house that is on the National Registry. Lucrezia's flagship restaurant in Chesterton, but opened in Crown Point over 6 years ago, which turned the dining scene around for Crown Poimt! Decor is more modern mixing in nicely with the old house. The food is cooked to order and is exceptional. The wait staff is knowledgeable and efficient! Staff is like family and knows us by name! Great martinis and a very sophisticated wine list with many great options by the glass. Prices are fair as portion sizes are very generous! Always a bag to take home. In the summer the outdoor dining is great and made us feel as though we were back in Italy! They cater, have special wine events and you can book private parties upstairs.

Lucrezia's is a good italian restaurant that is reasonably priced. We have had good experiences here. The food (especially the Tiramisu!!!) and service are both good. We've received good service from the busboys, especially when we sit in the more "modern" part of the restaurant. I tend to drink a lot of water, and the busboy was always refilling my glass. It was never once empty. The same goes for our bread. We did not see the waiter very much, but there was no need as the busboy too excellent care of us. I wish they would change the menu a bit - my husband is a vegetarian and they are not many choices that are without meat.

My wife and I tried this restaurant several times because it's close to our house and has received high reviews. After really poor service on our last 2 visits, we decided to stop going there. Drinks/bread were never refilled. Waiter/waitress difficult to find. On last visit, I had the ask the breadboy two separate times to find our waitress (something I never do). I know that some diners can be over-demanding with the staff (espicially in a busy restaurant), but my wife and I are not like that. I actually sent an e-mail complaint to the owner of this restaurant stating how the staff made us feel stupid and insignificant. It's hard to like the food at this restaurant, when the service is so poor. Parking is also limited, and many customers have to park down the street (where you end up stepping onto grass/dirt to walk on the sidewalk). I will say that the bathroom was clean (which I noticed when cleaning mud off my shoes). I would not recommned this restaurant if you are trying to impress a date/spouse.
