Provided by YP.comAusby Car Rentals a.k.a. Rent-a-Car of Texas is a SCAM. Do NOT rent from them. The cars are old and in DEPLORABLE condition (body and engine) The customer service is HORRIBLE and they find ways of charging you extra fees. They are DISHONEST and should not be in business.

Provided by YP.comPlease be warned! do not rent from this company!!! they are FRAUDULENT! i was advised not to use them because i was told they steal peoples money, but i ignored them because it was cheap and easy, however it turns out they were telling the truth. They do not return your deposit ( so you can automatically kiss that goodbye) the customer service (only one guy answers but pretends to be different people) is ok at the beginning, however when you call back to get your money which was supposed to be automatically refunded btw, they transfer you to a bogus number and start being rude and outright hanging up the phone on you. i am a very patient person, but this, i have never experienced before, which is why i am taking the time to write this review (which i never do) to save everybody from being scammed by this Fraudulent company. i wish i listened to the advise

I went on vacation in early July and was given a 2005 model of an SUV with 150,000 miles on it....top it off the AC was intermittent.... Horrible customer service... Employees are rude. Have never been given an accurate response. Have been hung up on after asking why no one ever responds to messages. They returned my $200 security deposit and then the following day took it back out!! This is a total scam and is run terribly... Pay the extra and go with a reputable company.

Provided by YP.comThe VIP Service that we received was great Our VIP rep (Marcus) Picked us of from the terminal so that we did not have to ride the bus and took us back to the terminal. We set up an account with Ausby Car Rentals and will use them again. Thank x a lot

Provided by YP.comBEWARE Ausby Car Rental. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. Review after review said they repeatedly do not return the incidental/security deposit. The money for the car plus $200 came out of my account immediately despite booking a month in advance. I only saw the reviews the day before I picked up the car. I hoped for the best considering there would be no refund if I cancelled.
My fears came true. It has been three weeks and there is no sign of the $200 back in my account when they said 10-15 days. I tried calling. No luck. No one answers. I emailed and got one response saying they had "approved the refund". Two weeks later and my "approved refund" is nowhere to be seen and no further response!
This appears to be repeated behavior according to the reviews and indicates they are fraudulent. They can give cheap offers because they know they will make it up by keeping the deposit and people will end up paying more than they would anywhere else. I have had to dispute the charge with my bank.

Provided by YP.comI recently rented a car from this company. I was on business trip with my wife in Dallas. I traditionally rent with Enterprise, Alamo, Budget, Ace, and others in that I travel quite a bit and try different companies.
What attracted me was the rate and the airport pickup. Both held true. When we arrived at DFW we received a text from our pickup telling us when we secure our bags, text him back, and he will pick us up right outside in 5 minutes. That happened!!!! He brought a brand new vehicle and then drove us a short distance outside the airport where he explained this is the location where we were to return our rental car. We filled out the rental paperwork while still in the vehicle, nice a cool and comfortable, and he then gave us the vehicle with a full tank of gas. Both my wife and I were surprised in that we never received this level of service. During the rental period I called the company, talked with Marcus at Ausby, and he explained that I return the car to the same location with a full tank of gas, and my $100.00 security deposit will be refunded to my credit card. This happened timely as well!!!! I only saw new vehicle within the Ausby return area, and as explained to me by Marcus, all the rental vehicles have sensors on them to track when they are returned to their rental car lot. Additionally, the rental car lot is collocated with a Best Western Hotel that provides hour on the hour shuttle service back to the airport. The Best Western staff is very friendly and cooperative and catered well to us a Ausby customers. I WOULD recommend this company!!! I read some of the other reviews and it is evident that the renters did not understand the rental process and did not give the company time to address their concerns. I would use this company again. Just be ready for a different experience and stay in touch with the company during and after the rental period to insure they can provide you your security deposit back after the rental and address any of your concerns during the rental period. Finally, it was a good experience, just a little different and better that others. The company is a new company and growing; but once you understand their system you will develop a level of comfort with them.

Provided by YP.comHorrible rental experience and I have not even rented yet. After reserving through car rental express I get an email that tells me I must pay to get to the vehicle, and if I decide to cancel there is no refund. So now I pay these undisclosed fees or I lose my money. This is a scam.
