Provided by YPmobileWe left home at 5:30am to go on a short vacation. By 8:15am we were being towed by a AAA truck to Hendrick Honda. The driver assured us it was a superior dealer. To our dismay we determined that our transmission had gone out. By the end of the day our salesman, Ken Strachhan and the finance professional, George Case had us in a beautiful 2014 Honda CRV. We felt like we were a long time friend of the Service Advisor, Darlene Chilelli. She was treating us like we were repeat customers even though we arrived unplanned and unexpected. I would wholeheartedly recommend Hendrick Honda to anyone looking for a professional staff supporting a worthy product.

They treated us like family and we got another great car! We are very happy with our cars and how hard they ALL worked to get these deals done for us. We recommend them highly!

Provided by YP.comMy visits here are always a good experience.
Nancy Walworth is our relationship manager and she always takes time to do a good job for us, find us savings (if there are any). Gene always drops me off to office on time and are is there to pick me up when I am ready. This time Nancy was off and Rich helped me. That also was a great experience. He was patient in explaining what extra repairs were needed and why...Thanks guys!

Provided by YP.comI went to this car showroom to buy an SUV pre-owned that my girlfriend like, was 2004 model. after spent 3 hours over there waiting them for the financing approval, the first salesmen was a really nice and very polite guy but another salesmen came to give me their offer in the end and hes attitude was very weird, he start telling me that my job monthly paycheck not much!! FOR HIM and then he said they will sale it to me with one term that 2004 car worth of $7000. for 54 month payment $498.. WOW!! do the math that make me pay total of ($26946.00) and he want me to accepted like I'am an ****** ..
Not only that, when I got the taste drive, when I stop and the car running but on D the motor was shaking and almost shutdown by itself. I think really they need to servicing their car before offering them on sale to people.. Beware!!!

Provided by YP.comI understand the need of a business to make a profit, but it is deplorable when a business chooses to do so by lying and creating problems for them to solve at the consumer's expense. We have just had our third experience of outright deception by Hendrick Honda and we will never go there again. The first time we went for service after they bought out Jon Hall, they told my wife she needed a headlight restoration on our 2005 Honda Odyssey. I had restored the headlights 3 days before our oil change. They were crystal clear. They also told us we needed a new high level brake light bulb. They wanted $45 to replace a bulb which retails for $7.99 for a pair. The original bulb was not burned out and continues to work today.
Our second visit they up sold my wife by telling her the water pump was a "consumable" and needed replaced at a cost of almost $800. The OEM kit, including all belts and seals, costs $200 online and is fitted in less than 1 hour. 3 days after this service, the battery in the car died. They had charged us for a battery condition test at the service and had checked it green when it clearly was almost dead.
Yesterday we went in for an oil change. They advised us that the CV boots were beginning to perish (reasonable enough) but they told us that the entire front axles needed to be replaced because of this. A quick check on line followed by a visit to an independent garage demonstrated this was a complete and utter lie, the axles were fine, cv joints fine and that the cv boots actually had a good year or so on them. At most we needed a grease job.
Hendrick Honda Daytona's service department are pathological liars. Nancy was our service advisor and she never failed to try and rip us off. We caught a few things, I haven't mentioned all of the unnecessary work I stopped, but I know they did manage to screw us out of several hundreds of dollars dishonestly.
We'll never go back and I would suggest nobody else goes there for service on an out of warranty vehicle. Theresa's Garage, less than a block north on Nova seems honest, is reasonable and stands by their work. They also do free estimates.

Provided by YP.comThis was my first visit to Hendrick Honda of Daytona. I needed an oil change and filter and some recall work done on my car. When service is done on an auto, it supposedly goes through a multi-point inspection. The inspection resulted in an estimate of $354 of additional work that was needed on the car. Funny how they found this work needed to be done, but FAILED to make sure there was correct air in my tires. All 4 tires had around 15 pounds of air instead of the recommended 32/30 PSI for the tires. Once I told them that I would think about the additional work and advise them later, they apparently had no more interest in me as a 1st time customer. Every other Honda Dealer that I have been to always vaccumed and washed my car and treated me as a valued customer regardless of the work being done. This is the first time that I have had a bad experience at Honda. I will not be back to this dealership...they lost me as a customer.
