the best burgers are not sold at 5 guys but at the swamphouse the nightmare at the swamphouse is a favorite and good to the last bite my idea of heaven on a bun

May 7, 2010I wanted to say a BIG Thank you for the great time that we had at the Swamp House Grill!We had family visiting from San Antonio Texas and decided to go for dinner. We had never been before and we just wanted to let everyone know that our meals were absolutely terrific!! From the Shrimp to the Mahi to the Grouper and to the Steak Gorgonzola, every bit was delicious. We went on May 7th which was a Friday night and it was packed, however we only had to wait for about 5 minutes. It happened to be open mike night and the entertainment was really good as well. Today is my birthday and I was asked where did I want to go........I was going to go with Mexican but it didn't take me long to remember the great meal we had so, .. I will be heading back for what I know will be a wonderful time!Kind Regards,Pamela B.

Maybe we went on a bad day but the food was poor (think Barnhills Buffet quality-not worth the $12 a head) and the service atrocious. Our server was rude, aloof, and inattentive and when my wife asked him for a coffee refill he poured her a cup from a pot that had just begun brewing. It was waaaay too strong and when we pointed this out he ignored us. The bread products (French toast sticks & biscuits) were either stale or hard and the rest of the entrees were bland or overcooked. The atmosphere was quite nice.
