It was in 1998 while Apostle Sandra and Pastor Isaias pastored a church in Brazil that God gave them the direction to relocate to the United States. Even though both were unsure of the exact city God was sending them to, they chose to obey. A year later, they arrived in Miami International Airport, excited and expectant of what God had in store for them. After 5 years of preparation, God worked in their hearts and minds and in August 2004, Light for the Nations had its first service. The congregation started meeting at the pastor’s house, holding services in their living room. Three months later, the congregation rented a facility at a local hotel to better serve its members. But it was in November 2005 that the church rented its first place. Less than a year later, the church had to rent a second location due to the increase of members. Since then, Light for the Nations is in constant growth, holding various services and events at the new facility in Deerfield Beach, FL. While the growth of this apostolic house is constant, its vision remains strong.
