I was referred to this place by a friend of mine and honestly my hair is so unruly, I didn't expect much. I was blown away. The girl that did my hair was Shantel, she wasn't Dominican. The way she did my hair was definitely the Dominican way though. My hair has so much body and shine. I couldn't believe it. Especially because I have short hair, Nia Long short. I highly recommend this place! You will not be disappointed..just don't know if all this heat is good for the hair though....

I rarely write reviews so this a very big deal for me to take the time to do so for Pilar's Hands of Beauty located on 1847 West Hillsboro Blvd, Deerfield Beach, Fl 33441. Pilar, the salon owner was very pleasant. She explained some of the services that she provides and recommended a few products to use on my hair because I got the Keratin Treatment. (The Keratin Treatment was done by a "want to be" Hair Stylist in Coral Springs. She did such a terrible job I never went back. I have been conditioning my hair at home using other treatments trying to bring some life back into my hair). To make a long story short, another stylist washed, conditioned, blow dried my hair and Pilar did the finishing touch with the flat iron. The result: shiny, bouncy, beautiful and healthy looking hair. I rated the salon four stars instead of five because the Customer Service needs a little tweaking. Hiring a receptionist might be helpful. I will post an updated review after my next visit so stay tuned. CL

I was EXTREMELY pleased with the services I received at this salon. My hair has never looked better. Pilar is a magician and I'm so happy that I found her. I will never go anywhere else. Great products, great prices, great customer service...what more can you ask for?

Great Spot, Pilar was awesome...at first i was nervous since im used to the tru dominican salons from NY and since i have curly hair most places dont know how to handle it, but Pilar came in and made sure that i was well taken care of and at the end she did the finishing touch with the flat iron so no matter who blows it out at the end Pilar takes care of you!
