Located in historic Middlesex County on pristine Mill Creek, just off the Chesapeake Bay in the heart of Deltaville, Virginia. Deltaville Maritime Museum & Holly Point Nature Park offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the area's boat building history, our waterfront, park, gardens, trails and the serenity of river life. Focusing on the Bay's boat-builders, their boats, tools, techniques and lives, the Museum includes a superb collection of ship models as well as photographic and art exhibits with an active boat building shop. Family Boatbuilding Week is held annually every July. Holly Point Nature Park is a 36-acre waterfront nature preserve featuring woodland and children's garden, a living shoreline and pier-walk with a kayak ramp and landing, picnic areas and events pavilion. The waterfront park and 8000 SF Events Pavilion hosts a wide variety of both public and private events.
