      Raina Butorac has been a professional hairstylist for more than 20 years. She received her license in 1995 after completing the cosmetology course at Scot Lewis Beauty School (now Empire Beauty School). She immediately went to work at a full-service salon. She threw herself into any advanced training she could get her hands on. Although she enjoys cutting hair, her true love is in color, and she decided to become a color educator for Redken. She still worked at the salon as a stylist, but on her days off, she would go to salons to request further education. While there, she would share her knowledge of new trend releases; Raina had been blessed to be a part of the spring/fall trend release hair shows, even working backstage to create the new trends alongside some of the top stylists in the country! Now at Denver Hair Design, Raina feels incredible lucky to have such an amazing job that allows her to share her creative, free-spirited side while keeping her connected with people on a daily basis. She thrives on giving her clients the look they want, whether it be classic or trendy, and truly enjoys the customer service aspect of being a hairstylist. When you sit down in Raina’s chair, you’ll forget about your day at work. Just sit down, relax—maybe grab a glass of wine or beer—and let Raina take care of you. Raina starts each appointment with a hair consultation to determine your desired look. She’s also open and upfront about pricing—no one likes to be surprised by the price of a haircut or color after the job is done! At Denver Hair Design, the stylists use Kevin Murphy products. Born from the same philosophy as skin care, the products are weightlessly designed to deliver performance, strength and longevity. The line is friendly to our precious planet and uses organic growing practice. Denver Hair Design is located on the corner of Speer Boulevard and Washington Street.
