      Arthur's tours are really amazing! Two of my friends and I took this tour during our spring break trip through the south in 2011. Pookey was our tour guide and he was absolutely great! He caught a baby alligator and let us pet him; it was really beautiful out on the bayou and an amazing time! The whole staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable about the land and the creatures who live there. Don't pass this up!!

      RIDE ON THE WILD SIDE

      See gators, herons, and other Louisiana wildlife up close and personal. Rides can be custom-tailored to cater to your specific needs . . . from smooth and easy to wild and crazy (or anything in-between)! Airboat Tours is located just minutes away from New Orleans International (Moisant) Airport. We invite everyone to come to the bayou and experience for yourself the ride of your life in an airboat. You can take a lazy leisurely ride or a more adventurous "RIDE ON THE WILD SIDE." Our airboat can actually go on the marsh. Seventy-five percent of the time you will be on land, or deep into the cypress swamps . . . where you can see beautiful moss-draped trees and wildlife. Our tour is just 45 minutes from New Orleans. We are surrounded by a quiet fishing village where the time seems to stand still. Your guide Arthur (a U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain), is a commercial alligator and crab fisherman, born on the bayou and a lifelong resident of Bayou Gauche. He is very knowledgeable on the ecology of the marsh. Discover one of the most unique swamp rides in Louisiana!
