Very friendly and helpful during our experience at Brookfield. Our son was in Rehab and the staff and nurses were very supportive and encouraging. From the time you drive into the parking lot, and as you enter the front door, the staff is greeting you with a smile and always making you feel welcomed. We appreciate the care given to our son and the generous nurses, rehab therapists, and administration. Thank you Brookfield

How can I possibly describe, Perfection. The moment I walked in to visit, it was if I was greeted by a welcoming staff. Bright and cheerful people that are happy to be there, Enthusiastic. Positive. I've heard nothing but positive things about Brookfield. Now, I know why. I'm transferring my mother to Brookfield. Where she's at "currently" is in Norwalk, honestly this other place in Norwalk is depressing, and she's only been there one week. So, were looking forward to taking my mother to Brookfield. I am a local Downey resident and want to be close to my mom. We will visit her daily.

I love this place. The staff is incredible. I was a resident there two years ago for approximately ten months. The nurses there were very nice and caring. The rehab team is the ultimate dream team in the healthcare profession. They were awesome. They were very encouraging and helped me get back on my feet. The facility was very clean. My family and friends who would come and visit me were very impressed how friendly and pleasant the staff were to them. There were a lot of activities to participate in throughout the day. They even had monthly fieldtrips planned, movie nights, candlelight dinners, popcorn and ice cream socials, and other fun and engaging activities for the residents. The administrator, David Howell, and the rest of his administrative team do an amazing job. I am very impressed with their work and their dedication to make sure everyone is treated with respect and great care. They try their best to be accomodating to the needs of each resident. One of my favorite memories of Brookfield was the time when David came into my room to visit and asked me if I needed anything. I inquired about ordering a Manny Pacquiao fight that was going to air on HBO that upcoming weekend. David told me he would try to make that happen. Throughout the week, he had people look into that and they found out that they couldn't just order it for one specific tv set. It would cost them a lot to order it throughout the whole facility. I wasn't too disappointed about not having to watch the fight. I know they did all they could to try and get it. The Monday, following the fight, David came into my room with the therapist and told me that we were going to have a post-fight party. They got me out of bed and wheel'd me into the dinning area. One of the resident doctors at Brookfield recorded the fight and I was able to watch it. David ordered pizza and soda for the residents and staff. I already knew who won.....but it was nice to actually see it for myself. Brookfield saved me. Brookfield brought me back to life. When I first arrived there, I really thought that this was the end for me. I was so depressed and unhappy. Thank you Brookfield for all you've done for me.

I have been a resident at Brookfield for three years and my stay here has been productive and joyous. Being away from my family is hard but Brookfield made me feel at home. The nurses took good care of me. The rehab staff has done a wonderful job helping me get back on my feet after numerous operations on my knee. The administrator and his staff are very caring and dedicated to each resident. They are very friendly and always have a smile on their face. They try their best to go out of their way to accomodate any needs or wants of each resident. The facility is really nice and very clean. Doesn't have that nursing home smell. They offer valet parking for guests and from time to time, the In-N-Out truck provides meals for residents and staff. Thank you Brookfield for all you've done for me
