      Based in Downey, Calif., the Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center is a medical rehabilitation center that has been operational for more than 50 years and offers a variety of health care services for people with physical disabilities. It offers wide range of services, including stroke management; occupational, physical and speech therapies; audiology; brain and spinal cord injuries treatment; polio treatment; and pressure ulcer management. The center s Alzheimer s disease research center provides outpatient diagnostic services to people with memory impairment, ongoing care, clinical research and education. The Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center is approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
