I took my cat LingLing to have her spayed and front declawed. The staff was very friendly and professional. I took her and dropped her off that morning and picked her up that afternoon. She had absolutely no problems with healing and I am very satisfied. I was also able to buy 3 days of pain medicine for her, it was liquid in a syringe so I didn't have to wrestle with getting her to take a pill. They also supplied a special litter (Today's News) for her to use for the first week or so. I highly recommend Lyon County Animal Hospital for all your pets medical needs.

I have been taking my furbabies to see Dr. Davis since I moved here June 2012. At that time I only had my boys (Civic and Monte) but have acquired 19 cats (rescue babies that I got attached to). I did give a few away and I have lost a few to sickness from ticks that Front line didn't work on. At this point I have 10 cats (I lost Monte 12/24/13 and Civic 03/22/14) and Dr. Davis has cared for and spayed or neutered every one of them. He and his staff really love what they are doing and it shows. I have called Dr. Davis after hours and on weekends and he has met me at his office to care for my babies. I HIGHLY recommend him and would see him myself if he took human patients. He cares for our animals and his prices are awesome. All I can say is I love Dr. Davis and his staff and if you want someone taking care of your animals that love them just as much as you do this is the place for you.

My fur kids and my fosters have been going here almost five years. Excellent care friendly people. Prices are great! I am the vp of Southern Cross Boston Terrier Rescue and the care Dr Davis and his staff give my bostons is wonderful. i highly recommend him to everyone. Thank you Dr Davis and staff for all the hard work compassion you give all of my dogs. Thanks for not breaking my pocket book lol.

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Davis & all his staff. It's rare to find someone that obviously isn't in this business for just the money. As soon as he walks in he takes the time to get down on the floor with the Boys (my dogs) to make them feel as comfortable as they can be. As far as I am concerned I will always have a Vet that I can put my confidence in. Thanks again Dr. Davis.



p.s. Alot of human Doctors could learn from you on thier bedside manner.

I absolutely love Dr. Davis and his staff. They have been nothing but wonderful to me and my dogs. My first experience with Dr. Davis was not long after I moved here from Myrtle Beach, SC and one of my shelties got sick. I called Dr. Davis and left a message for him to call me back and he called and talked to me for 30 minutes (and he didn't know me from Adam). He has been taking care of my dogs since July 2012 and I will NEVER let anyone else see my dogs. He is one of those doctors that you can tell is not in it just for money, he loves his job and loves taking care of animals. He has never tried to add anything to my bill and as a matter of fact he is the only vet that has actually saved me money. Again, I love Dr. Davis and would recommend him to everyone. Thank you Dr. Davis for caring and for taking such good care of Monte and Civic. :)

I recently took my lab there just for shots and such and they jacked up my bill by adding a lot of things that I did not agree to or think my dog really needed. They are clearly out just to make money and I will not be a returning customer.

My daughter is the lady with the yorkie poo and I know she is telling the truth. These other reviews are clearly workers at the lyon county animal hospital who are not very professional and are retaliating against my daughter for giving this truthful review, she also complained to them before she gave this review thats how they new she was a lady and not a man. I was with with my daughter when she picked up her dog after she had been groomed there and the poor little dog looked terrible and was still matted. The groomer had called her and told her she was leaving early because she was pregnant and was not feeling well.

I'm not sure who the lady with the yorkie is talking about but it certainly isn't Dr Davis or Lyon Co Animal Hospital. I travel 50 miles to his clinic with my pets and have followed him from Evansville to his clinic in Eddyville because of the expertise he has and because of the way he and his staff treat their clients. It sounds to me like yorkie lady doesn't realize that some vets will do or say what it takes to get a client. That's not Dr Davis. He does what's best for the animal in all cases. There are just some owners that think they know more than the vet and maybe they should go to school so that they can prove it. Bad mouthing only shows the true nature of the individual.

Did she (the girl with the yorkie poo) go to Lyon County Animal Hospital? I have been a client of Dr. Davis's for years. They are exceptionally friendly. Dr. Davis is really known as the dog and cat doctor for the area (since all the others do a lot of large animal stuff). I live on the lake and all my friends with lake homes from larger cities wait to bring their babies (dogs and cats, you know) to see Dr. Davis when they are in town. Maybe Dr. Roger's recommendation was old school medicine since he is so much older and treats lots of farm animals! Don't know much about the groomer except she is busy (everyone just goes on and on about how good she does in the waiting area). She can't be too bad. The new remodel and expansion they did is incredible.

I took my little yorkie poo there with demodex or red mange and I never even got to see the vet but they treated her with promeris which did not work so i ended up taking her to Rogers in Princeton and was told she needed to be put on an antibiotic to treat the skin infection caused my the mange mites and that promeris alone usually does not treat demodex. The staff at Lyon County Animal Hospital are not very friendly and try to add a lot of things to my bill without consulting with me first. I also had my dog groomed there and had to go home and finish the job myself because my dog still had matted spots in her hair and stray peices hanging off her face {she looked awful} If you are thinking about taking your animal there save yourself a lot of time and money and go to Rogers Vet in Princeton. Dr. Rogers is much older and more experienced and doesn't mind taking time to expain things.

I Will remain a client as long as I have pets.If you want a family to take care of your pet you have found them.Doctor Davis and his staff will make your pet and you feel at home and take care of your pet as if it was one of there own.
