      General Info
      The year was 1971. Disco music blared through transistor radios, Nixon was president, and Dr. Hampton Briggs opened one of the first pediatric dental offices in El Paso. Dr. Briggs was a founding member of the El Paso Cleft Palate Clinic and the first dental provider for the Head Start program in town. In the early 1980s, Dr. Jay Fosbury, an orthodontic specialist, joined Dr. Briggs to form El Paso’s first group specialist office for children. Since that beginning, thousands of children, and their children, have received excellent dental care. Dr. Hampton Briggs is one of the pioneers in pediatric dentistry in El Paso. A graduate of Washington University at St. Louis School of Dentistry, Dr. Briggs served in the United States Army prior to completing his pediatric-dentistry residency at Baylor University. When not practicing his profession, Dr. Briggs can be found at his horse-breeding and -training facility.
