Located in Richmond, Calif., Valley De Anza High School serves students in grades 9 through 12. The school s academic curriculum features English, math, science, history and physical education. It offers a variety of extracurricular activities related to orchestra, choir, band, music and art. Valley De Anza High School also operates cheerleading, drama and Spanish clubs. It provides special education classes for gifted and talented students. The school offers a range of sports activities that includes football, tennis, basketball and volleyball. In addition, Valley De Anza High School operates a parent-teacher association that conducts several fundraising activities and book fairs. Its staff includes a nurse, counselor, diagnostician and speech therapist. Valley De Anza High School is a part of the West Contra Costa Unified School District.
