Needed a 20 cy dumpster for a roof removal. Pricing was spot-on with most other providers in being one of the "lower costs" and actually allowed for 5 tons of debris unlike the 4 tons by their nearest competitors. Friendly representatives and answered all questions/queries posed to them accurately. Driver was friendly and took responsibility in placing and easing dumpster off on to plywood boards I provide to protect my driveway. Dumpster was placed near to project as requested with no question. Pickup was gingerly done once project completed. I would definitely recommend Allied Waste in consideration for projects you may be considering requiring a dumpster!

Called customer service. Very quick to answer and very pleasant. Answered my question and made suggestions which were very helpful.

I contacted the BFI to report that their driver damaged the lid of my designated trash can - the driver took the lid - leaving me with nothing to cover the trash while it sat inside my garage for an entire week. I reported the issue - was told a replacement can would be left and the damaged one taken - a replacement was left - but the damaged one remains. I have contacted BFI 3 times to get them to remove the damaged can which still sits outside my garage door. I can not get BFI to do this very simple task - and am left with a damaged can (additional damage this week - one of the wheels broken) outside my garage door. Not only is this unsightly, but it smells without a lid and I am quite certain members of the homeowners' association don't appreciate having to see it sitting there either. When I asked to speak with a manager at BFI I got put on hold - never spoke with a manager. Couldn't locate a web site to send my complaint. Lousy "Customer Service."

The phone customer service is very poor. The customer service calls are on hold, most of the time (for long periods), such as fifteen minutes or more and they close up earlier than scheduled such as 4:45 pm, but the recording states it is at 5:00 pm.Also, when the garbage tech. picks up the garbage if any waste falls out while they are dumping, they don't bother to pick up what falls on the ground, with them being in such a rush. It leaves debris for the resident to pick up and put out for the next week. However the tech. should be careful in regards to damaging the branches on the curb side trees and afterwards leaving the clean up for someone else to handle.
