Elizabethtown Community College is one of the leading providers of technical education in the United States. A part of Kentucky Community & Technical College System, it has been operational for more than 50 years. The college s licensed practical nursing diploma program includes anatomy, physiology, fundamentals of nursing, medical terminology, growth and development, transcultural, medical and surgical nursing, community health care, nutrition, microbiology, pharmacology, geriatrics, pediatrics, and emergency and critical care. Its career and continuing education division offers courses in aerobics, air conditioning and refrigeration work, automotive, computer repair, business science, Cisco certified network associate program, commercial art, boiler operation, carpentry, drafting real estate salesperson, machine trade, cosmetology, culinary arts, welding work, and plumbing and heating. Approved by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, the college is located in Elizabethtown, Ky.
