General Info
Erie Maritime Museum reveals the region's maritime heritage with a wide range of multimedia and interactive exhibits. The Museum's star attraction is the U.S. Brig Niagara, a replica of Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry's flagship that won the Battle of Lake Erie during the War of 1812. Extensive War of 1812 exhibits include weaponry, ship models and maritime artwork. The Museum's newest exhibit tells the story of the U.S.S. Michigan/Wolverine, the U.S. Navy's first iron-hulled ship.
