I called Kendricks paint and Body in Evans and spoke with the Manager Steven Fletcher, I explained to him that my car probably would not be covered under insurance because my wife had to many accidents. I told him that I would have to pay cash for my SUV to be fixed. He told me to go ahead and try to get my insurance to pay for it in the meantime he needed to see my vehicle in order to give me an appraisal for the repairs. I told him that my SUV was at my house. He said that since I was going to get my insurance to try and pay for it that he could just tow it to his shop. Kendricks body shop is only one mile from my house I googled it. So after three weeks I did finally get a decision that my claim was denied. But Steven gave me a 7500$ insurance quote to repair my truck and he charged me 150$ for the tow to his shop. I ended up going to Quality Paint and Body in Grovetown. The manager there did not charge me any tow fee's from Kendrick's in Evans to Grovetown. Oh and I asked what towing service that Kendricks uses I was told by the receptionist that they use Chancey's Towing. I called them they told me there tow fee is $50 for hook up and 3.95$ per mile. I mentioned this to Steven at Kendrick's he didn't seem to flinch at this. He offered to take a 50$ off my towing bill even though I should have been only charged 54$ for the tow. I mentioned to Steven that I work at Ft Gordon and I am a veteran. Thinking that this was an honorable man and business. I was wrong in my assessment and caution anyone wanting to do business with someone who over inflates there prices. Also the place where I had my truck towed is charging me 1500$ less than Kendricks.
