Roger Hewat, the owner, did an incredible job of restoring an old Durfee tall clock that had passed to me after 100 years of neglect, and then 25 more years of non-operation -- it was in sad shape. He completely resurrected the long-dead movement and chiming mechanisms, and he also restored the woodwork beautifully, even though that was well outside of his normal comfort zone. He totally restored the entire clock. ...I seldom write reviews, but I felt that Roger's craftsmanship and dedication deserved recognition. I'm posting this review (or something like it) wherever I can.
