My Grandmother was admitted to the hospital Wednesday before the Thanksgiving holiday for an overdose of medications that caused internal liver bleeding. She was released and sent home but we need more information that we can only get from the on-call Doctor. Of course being a holiday you might expect some issues but we have been trying for 3 days now to contact the Doctor. The service has paiged him MANY times, the lab (that has the results we need) has paiged him many times with the results, but 3 days later he still has not returned our calls. Once he had a nurse (we think) call to tell us he was still waiting on the lab results which was bull because we had all ready talked to the lab and they said they couldn't reach him. My Grandmother has to take blood thinners but can't until we get these results. This is all unexcusable!
