the fish was very thin. could not taste the fish. should been fish chips no flavor. But the hushpuppies were fantastic

This restaurant serves the best catfish in Arkansas, and the hushpuppies are seriously the best I've ever eaten! Addictive!! The cleanliness of Catfish Hole deserves mention as well. I guarantee you won't find a cleaner place!! Service is great, too!

Maybe it was that they were busy and your racist

I have been here a few times. The first time I was with an all-white party and the service was great. However, the next time, maybe 6 months later, I went with with a group of (black) friends. We were practically ignored from the moment we walked into the restaraunt. Business was slow as it gets and It took around 30 minutes for our server to approach us and take drink orders, we waited another 20 minutes for the drinks before we got the hint and left. I couldn't believe that in this day and age such ignorance exists. When we made it to the parking lot the waitress actually came out and asked us if we were going to pay for the hushpuppies that they had sat on the table hen we arrived. It's funny that she was able to make it out to the parking lot before we left to ask us that, but was nowhere to be found while we were actually in the building waiting to place orders. Needless to say, we did not pay for the hushpuppies, and I will never return to The Catfish Hole. If you are black, or have any black dining companions, I suggest you stay away as well.

Great food and friendly service. It is a few miles out of the way, but worth the drive. The catfish is good and the steaks are even better. Exceptionally fast service. You are served hushpuppies and slaw as soon as you sit down so there's no need to order appetizers.
