Never showed to do job. After a month of no rain waiting, I gave them a call. I was given dates when they would do it. Six weeks now still no call no show. I like to spend my hard earned money with professionals who want my business.

They did not do any work at my house, they cut trees on my neighbors property and took it upon themselves to drive their heavy equipment across my yard leaving huge tracks. When confronted the remark to me was..it's only grass!
This is not professional and I certainly didn't appreciate it. I do have tree work that needs to be done but your company will not be one I would want an estimate from.

I just wanted to thank Ken, and the staff at Big John's for helping me out with my house on Paden St. There was a big tree literally leaning over the house and they took care of it and another one. I appreciate good people.

Called this company after I was let down by another. This company came, quoted and completed to job timely. Couldn't have asked for more. I highly recommend!

Had a huge Pine tree in our back flower bed right up next to a fence that had been dead for a considerable amount of time and sought several estimates to have it removed. Ken at Big John's came out right away and gave me an estimate to have it removed, and along with a written quote, he also provided proof of insurance at the time (out of all the various estimates I received, Big John's was the only company that provided this information to me up front). Ken let me know that the tree wasn't in danger of falling down right now, and as he was already booked for several weeks, he let me know that if we had any concerns that it would need to come down sooner (due to major storms, etc.) to give him a call and he'd take care of it ASAP. The tree went through several major storms over a week and a half, was doing fine, but on the 6th or 7th storm, there was some movement, so we called him, and he adjusted his schedule and was out at the house with an 8 man crew, his 2 bobcats, bucket truck and dump truck and cutting down the tree within an hour and a half:)

Even though Ken let me know that damage was possible, perhaps even likely (as with any giant tree coming down), my entire family was impressed with the extreme care Ken took to prevent any damage to my lawn (massive mats were laid down anywhere the heavy machinery would be), my wooden flower bed retaining wall (which he removed and reinstalled) and my fence (ensuring to drop the limbs far enough away so that they wouldn't damage the fence by bouncing up when they hit the ground). He even came prepared with topsoil in case there were any ruts in the lawn after they were done.

The end result was a tree professionally removed, no ruts (because of the extreme care they took to prevent it), and a yard that looked like no one had even been there.



I couldn't be happier with the level of professionalism and the service I received, and I will never use another company in the Jackson area to work on my trees. Thank you .

Recommended by my neighbor so I called. Total professionalism and courtesy. Took out 8 trees from my yard, ground stumps, cleaned up completely. Did more than actually bid on but kept price the same. I would recommend this company to absolutely anyone. The crew worked as a team with each member staying busy with his assigned task. It's easy to tell they like what they do and take pride in their work. Each crew member was very courteous and professional. Ken Anderson was my contact and was completely professional, knowledgeable, and far exceeded my expectations.

Big John's was contracted to remove a very large oak tree that both over hung the home and a large magnolia tree. Any amount of damage to either was unsatisfactory. Big John's completed the work with no damage, the debris removal and clean up could not have been done better. The price while not the lowest or the highest bids we recieved was fair. Big John's also suggested that he would have his insurer fax a copy of proof of liability and worker's compensation insurance to us as proof of his policy and that the policy was ineffect. Thank you for the job ya'll did at my parents home.
