It is difficult to speak up and speak out about addiction's effects, but when we do so we help others understand how real it is and that no one is alone in their battle. As a community we can help others recognize addiction, find the strength to fight addiction, and possibly prevent others falling into the cycle of substance abuse to begin with. Substance abuse and addiction are complex conditions that can have devastating and overwhelming effects. Many who struggle with addiction do not know where to turn for help or treatment. If you've used drugs before or struggled with addiction, or know someone who has, we invite you to share your story with us here. Tell us about the hardships and triumphs throughout your recovery journey.
