In our offices we represent immigration cases ranging from adjustments of immigration status, immigrant visas to deportation proceedings before the court. We also take appeal cases before the Board of Immigration Appeals and the 11th Circuit Court.Family Law: Family law is an area of legal practice that focuses on family matters such as: adoption, divorce, child custody, paternity, emancipation, or other matters that are generally not related to divorce. Florida state law requires that one spouse reside in the county for a minimum of 6 months before filing for divorce. Bankruptcy: Bankruptcy is a legal process in which a person files a petition with the court for the dissolution of debts. For most, filing for bankruptcy is a great help even if there is not a complete discharge of the debts. It can be applied to Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 of the Bankruptcy Code. Chapter 7 takes four to six months to complete, while Chapter 13 can take three to five years to complete. In all cases, the Bankruptcy Court assigns a trustee to oversee the process. Anyone can apply for bankruptcy even if they are undocumented in the US.We service clients with office locations serving the Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, Naples, Bonita Springs, Fort Myers, Sarasota, and Tampa communities.
