Summit Wealth Management - Quincy Akins The Professional Version I graduated from Geraldine High School in 2009. I went on to earn my bachelors degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from Auburn University in December of 2012. (War Eagle!) After passing regulatory exams and getting licenses, I officially began work as an advisor in 2013, primarily working with teachers in the Birmingham area. I had interned throughout my time in college but, this was when I got my feet wet. I was later able to move back home to Fort Payne, where I worked with a local firm prior to taking over as an advisor for Regions bank. There, I learned a lot, covering the northeast corner of Alabama for a little over three years.
