I have known Don and Bessie personally for a long time, and know them both to be sincere and friendly, with a genuine interest in serving others. Don's professional experience goes way back, so he knows how vitally important it is that people go into the water fully trained and able to deal with whatever might go wrong. You are literally taking your life into your hands when you go scuba diving. It is not child's play, and you want an instructor who understands that and is not afraid to be firm with his students if need be.So, by all means trust Don and Bessie with your training and equipment needs. I know I would.

I was certified by Don and he is a amazing teacher and person. Don is very good at what he does. He is teaching you how to dive and wants to make sure you know what to do if by chance you get in trouble 100 foot under water. It is not a game to him and he does not put up with people who are not serious about learning what he is trying to teach you. I am a very emotional person but I was serious about learning how to dive and he never made me cry. So to the people who quit that is just who you are. I went on to take 4 other classes from Don and believe this 52 year old women can handle myself in the water. I can run out of air which I did on my third open water dive and know exactly what to do. Thank you Don for teaching me to dive and for always helping with our equipment. You went the extra mile teaching me my computer. He is a great teacher and Bessi is the sweetest person. As to the negative reviews whatever.... your the problem not Don.

I took a class with Don Reese. He was unprofessional and downright mean. I was treated very poorly and wound up in tears after his classes. I suppose he is accustomed to teaching unruly teenagers instead of grown up professionals, but this is no excuse. The entire organization is amateurish. I would never recommend taking their classes. And if you need to buy equipment, you're better off somewhere else.

The owner and person at the counter were extremely rude and inconsiderate! They have had my equipment and tanks to be serviced for over 2 weeks and they have not called to let me know when they would be ready for pick up! I went to their shop today to check on the status since no one would answer the phone and they told me that he had not even looked at the regs because he was too busy with other things and it would of been at least another week or longer until he could even look at them. This would have been fine if he would have called me to let me know. Since this is a 50 mile round trip for me and because of their attitudes with me i have decided to take my gear to another dive shop that I know is reliant and reputable. I would not recommend this shop to ANY of my friends because of their rude behavior and the unprofessionalism of the shop!
