NOTE FROM THE OWNER OF K9 TAILSHAKERS: The owner is correct in stating we did not bath the dog or return his items. I would like the business side of the story to be heard as well. To educate the owner...some dogs when boarding experience increased anxiety/stress, which in turn can cause loose stool or colitus which is not uncommon, ask your vet. In regard to the pet being tired: we are a social boarding facility therefore the dog plays in groups of other dogs and with staff through out the day. All guests are notified their dogs will sleep 3-5 days when returning home. In regard to the bath: we were never informed they were coming early therfore the dog was not ready. In regard to the items missing: we are probably one of the few facilities that allows personal items to come during their dogs stay and yes things get lost from time to time. The owner failed to mention we mailed a new blanket and toys with treats. I am hurt by this rating. We truly care about our guests.

We had a BAD experience here; when we picked up our dog, she was very dirty (they say they forgot we were going to try and pick her up that day.) She had messed her blanket and 2 toys; told us they were getting them cleaned and would have them for us in 2 days; it is now 3 weeks and we have not received our materials AFTER WE STOPPED THERE TWICE AND CALLED TWICE (THEY DON'T RETURN PHONE CALLS!!)Besides that, when our dog awoke the next day, she had diarrhea. This continued for several days and was followed by lethargy for another 3 days, requiring a trip to the vet. Am very disappointed in their handling of this matter and their dealings with me; I don't feel they know how to conduct business responsibly and I would NOT send my dog (or anybody's else's dog for that matter) to their business.
