CBS Boring is a multi-plant contract manufacturer that offers powertrain components to the automotive, diesel engine and military industries. Components manufactured by the company include engine blocks, cylinder heads and transmission housings. CBS Boring, incorporated in June of 1967, specialized in providing products and services to the special machine tool industry. In 1974, the company transitioned from a horizontal boring mill operation to computerized numerically controlled machining centers. CBS Boring & Machine Company is located in Fraser, Mich.
