      General Info
      The Division of Hematology - Oncology is involved in laboratory and clinical research-based patient care programs. The division develops therapeutics for patients with cancer and blood disorders. It offers educational programs for students, residents, fellows and nursing practitioners. The Division of Hematology - Oncology also organizes summer research fellowship programs. The division provides inpatient consultative hematology services to medical and surgical specialties. In addition, it serves referring physicians in Florida, Georgia and Alabama. The division offers primary hematologic care for patients with benign and malignant hematologic conditions at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center. The Division of Hematology - Oncology is managed by the Department of Medicine, which is a part of the University of Florida.
