General Info

Children's Cloud Daycare is a family daycare located in Gaithersburg, MD. I am licensed with the State of Maryland and me and my staff have a 10 year combined experience working in childcare. I am welcoming children from 6 weeks to age 12. I am a mom and therefore have lots of experience with babies. The curriculum I will use will incorporate learning, play, creativity, motor skills, speaking and reading skills, outdoor play, and individual learning, as well as group activities. We will also do activities that require teamwork to build trust and critical social skills. I will also be incorporating some of the basic principles of Montessori into my daycare curriculum because I believe Montessori gives children the freedom to choose what they are most interested in doing, and thereby, helping them develop their creativity and a passion for learning. In my daycare I will provide healthy high quality meals and snacks for children throughout the day. As far as my qualifications go, I have completed and passed the following: Criminal Federal Background Check and a Physical Health Check. Have received training and certifications in the following: SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) CPR and First, Medication Administration (making me certified to give medication), Childhood Obesity Prevention: LMCC -- Support Infant Feeding (Breastfeeding training course) Including All Children and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). I also completed 24 hours of training this year on various subjects such as: After School Programs, Family Diversity, Inclusive Early Childhood Programs, Caring for Children in Your Home, Emergency Preparedness, I have also created an Emergency Disaster Plan for the daycare. My staff have also completed the same training I have and are fully trained and certified to care for the children in my daycare. In terms of quality of care, I have never had a child or parent complain about or give negative feedback about my work. My home is clean, smoke free and pet free. I am very loving and kind-hearted and my staff are very compassionate, friendly, loving, and caring. I am here to help families and parents who are looking for a loving caregiver to take care of their little ones because I know how hard it can be working and trying and having to take care of your kids. I am here to make sure that your kids get the best quality care they can get so that they become healthy, educated, creative, smart, and successful adults. In addition, I also offer before and after school care for schools in my area including elementary and middle schools in the Gaithersburg, Laytonsville, and Germantown area.
