My children (3) have been at this office about 7 years. Sometimes I do get annoyed at waiting but the wait is always worth it. The office staff are so friendly and the nurses a joy to be around. Dr. Lubega takes her time with each family and always explains in detail to whatever questions you may have. She does not just throw antibiotics at your child which is also appreciated. The interaction Dr. Lubega has with children (teaching them, playing with them, caring about each one of them) is priceless and we couldn’t be more blessed she is our doctor.

STAY FAR AWAY!! This is by far the worst Pediatric office in Gastonia. I've taken my children here a total of 3 times and every time I've had to wait 2 hours to be seen. Today was the final straw with First Pediatrics, when I booked the first appointment of the day (8am), and didn't get seen until 9:50am. I brought my son in for a health assessment to prepare for kindergarten and when they didn't have the proper paperwork needed (as every pediatric office should), I was told I would have to come back with the application and pay a $10 fee for the written assessment after my insurance covered this visit. TOTAL RIP OFF! When I called the office back later to complain about this morning's experience, the receptionist rudely hung up in my face. After today's visit, I will never return. First Pediatric lost 2 more patients. My opinion= Find another Pediatrician.
