I have always, over decades, been treated very well by Jay's Gaylord and Jay's Clare. Their people are top notch, always customer friendly and knowledgeable. My carefully considered purchases over many years include a Browning down vest, Filson wool coat, lightweight composite Old Town canoe, Trailex aluminum trailer to tow-wheel-store it, and (to my complete surprise) a rare small Zeiss rubber armored binocular a-la NATO older days. Another early and valued purchase was a stainless 7-30 Waters TC Contender single shot carbine, with all the power of the early 270, short, ultra light, woods handy, with large finger opening and iron sights an eyeglass user can accurately shoot with. For complete safety, easily checked at a glance, it has a 3-position centerfire-lockout-rimfire firing pin selector on an external hammer. Where else would I have gotten to see it? Each of these items, rarely seen in stores anywhere, was fairly priced by Jay's and looks-as-new today. Shop quality, Shop Jay's!
