We had a patio steps & walls installed at our home in 2011. We worked with Pat & found him very knowledgable friendly & easy to work with. Our design had many elevation changes so we decided to wait a year for a review.I can say that everything held up great & looks just as beautiful as the day the job was completed. We are very happy!

Not happy with the job.

We had a long walk-way of unilock pavers installed by SolidScapes last year (June 2009). First of all, the random pattern does not look nice. Typically, the walkways are laid to appear random, but there is a definite method to the madness. On our walkway, the installers just grabbed whatever paver was closest to their hand, so there is no rhyme or reason to the pattern. There are four little ones sometimes, next to a medium, then two large pavers etc. It doesn't look nice. Secondly, there is now grass and weeds growing between the pavers. I called to complain and I was told that the weeds are growing on TOP of the walkway, not in between the cracks. I disagree. We feel that the installers did not dig down deep enough, they did not put down a weed barrier or weed killer, and the layer of sand/gravel was too shallow. We've since had a huge patio installed by a different company, and to watch that installation compared to the installation by SolidScapes was night and day. If you use SolidScapes, be prepared for problems and little sympathy when you call to complain.
