The doctor has informed his patients that he longer is accepting Medicare and patients must pay up front or fend for themselves. So, here I am 80 years old and forced to search for a new family physician

This doctor office is OK but, the prices are a little high on some things. If you carry your records to them to look at because this is the doctors office you want to go to you won't get the records back so you will want to make copies of them and give them the copied ones so you can keep the originals.

Western Wayne Medical Center is better then what it use to be. It has come a long way sense Doctor Pate got better staff. Now he still has two employees that have an attitude all the time but, maybe he will re place them at some point. Doctor pate is a great doctor and he always comes into the patients room with a smile and he always makes you feel welcome. He always listens and he really cares about is patients. His office is always so clean. So if you want a doctor that really knows what he is doing then he is the doctor to have. Now his nurses do take a long time to respond back and if you need a medication refilled they are slow about getting it done. Sometimes they forget. So you would have to call them 2 or 3 times.
