Based in Graham, N.C., the company engineers molten aluminum handling systems for aluminum casthouse applications. It specializes in engineering the utilization of refractory shapes for aluminum applications, including bed filtration, troughing, ceramic foam filter bowl and degassing systems. Permatech Inc. offers precast, prefired crucibles, ladles and tundishes for the investment casting industry. In addition, the company produces a range of precast shapes, including shot sleeves, pouring spouts, bottom pouring nozzles, striko fill funnels and thermocouple protection tubes for the aluminum automotive foundry application.
