Efficient and Helpful Very nice and down to earth guy. I had some worries about some questionable looking bathroom walls. He told me he be happy to come by and check it out. He promptly arrived the next morning on time (no I'll show up between 8AM-8PM). He found some mold and explained everything to me in detail about what the cause was, what he would need to do and gave me a very reasonable quote and told me it wasn't anything to be too worrisome about. Being the cautious consumer that I am, I thanked him for his time and decided to get another estimate. Wrong decision! I sat around all day waiting for another contractor to come check it out. If I could give no stars that would be my rating. I had these fellas out for a simple water extraction from a hose bib that burst out side. After convincing me that the loss was covered, I paid them them the requested ammount. I find out two days later that its not covered. They tookmy money and left me holding the bag. My house is a wreck and my account is empty. And these are the guys the insurance company recomended in the first place!

Guest it is interesting that your home was partially burned and that you were happy. I can tell you most insurance adjusters will be looking to cut cost for their company. Insurance companies are profit business and not philanthropists. Who in their right mind want a house that is patched up vs. a complete replacement? You sound like someone that works for Mooring Recovery. I hired Mooring recovery to repair my home after a fire damage, the main factor was because they were preferred by Allstate; my experience with them was a complete nightmare. They called me for a 50% inspection and found they cut all kinds of corners to save money. Unfortunately for them I caught the majority of it and had them correct it. However, some of the things caught were too late and I have to live with it. Their sales person sold me a service and their workers did their own thing with any regard for the scope of work. In my view it was a scam. I have complete documentations and pictures as well.

Well luckily it wasn't a complete loss. I called Mooring Recovery within the week and it was probably the best call I've made this year. From the lady I spoke with on the phone to the person that came out to look at what was left of my home, they have all been exceptionally friendly, professional and most importantly understanding of what I was going through. From start to finish I was back in my house in less than two months and they were even able to restore things that I thought were for sure ruined by the fire and water. I had a house fire in 2009. The key factor in my having chosen Mooring Recovery to do my rebuild was that they are a Nationwide Insurance "Preferred Contractor". They way, way over promised and way, way, under delivered. Please call me before you consider using Mooring Recovery. I have complete documentation and pictures of their shoddy unprofessional "craftsmanship" (I use the term craftsmanship very loosely when referring to Mooring Recovery). My issues are numerous.....plumbing, electrical, texture and paint, roofing, landscaping, garage door won't open automatically. I can go on and on.
