One school covering K through the 12th grade - Building life-long friendships...

A school my children enjoy going to and it is nice knowing that they are there through 12th grade, with no need to change schools. We all wish they would bus. Bussing is reserved for the deaf and hard-of-hearing or if the child has other disabilities. This school requires that the student is self-motivated. If your child is not, he/she may struggle. Ours are only somewhat, so we find ourselves pushing them to get things done. My husband and I feel there is not enough homework sent home, but I hear that changes significantly when the child reaches 5th grade. (Our oldest is in 5th this coming school year). We enjoy the mix of the high school students with the elementary students. It allows our children to see what is to come and it teaches the high schoolers how to behave around the younger set. (Most of the time, this works out well. There is always a bad apple around, but that just opens the door for discussion on how to NOT act like that person).
