0Our family has used Wood Mortuary for years. They are wonderful.
The Wood Mortuary Inc helped us during a very tragic time and we couldn't have found a better mortuary. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
The Wood Mortuary has the most professional staff I've ever experience. While professional, they still show the most compassion and kindness I've ever seen. The help they gave my family and myself really made things much easier.

My wife recently passed away and I called Wood Mortuary to handle the funeral arrangements. The folks there are wonderful and I hold a special place in my heart for the excellent job they did for me and my wife.

They staff is very good to you. They do an excellent job, especially the funeral director. The gentleman was very understanding.

- The Wood Mortuary, Inc. traces its origin back to 1902 when John D. Wood established a funeral and undertaking business. The business opened on the second floor of his Grocery-Hardware store located on Randall Street in downtown Greer, South Carolina. After several years, John D. Wood built a chapel next door to the funeral business leading him to close the doors to the Grocery-Hardware store in 1922. He then placed his concentration on the growing Mortuary. Richard H. Wood Jr., grandson of the founder now serves as President of the company.
