Grenada Middle School offers a variety of academic and co-curricular programs to students. It serves the educational needs of more than 1,200 students in grades six through eight. The school provides various subjects, such as language arts, math, science, geography, social studies, and American and world history. Its athletic activities include softball, football, cheerleaders, basketball, soccer, tennis, track, baseball and golf. The school involves students in elective study programs, including fine, visual and performing arts, and physical and health education. It also organizes various enrichment and extracurricular programs in marching band, choir, marine science, computer applications and speech. It additionally organizes after school intervention classes in mathematics and grammar. The school has a parent-teacher association and student council. It is located in Grenada, Miss., and is governed by the Grenada School District.
