I haven't had any experience with Dr. Nykamp or Dr. Ackerman, but I was not at all pleased with how Dr. Fred (Chmielewski) handled my elderly cat. I understand that administering a wellness exam means that my pet will be uncomfortable, but I feel that he was unnecessarily rough with her. She didn't mind the veterinary assistants messing with her for the most part, but Dr. Fred always had her growling and hissing. If you're bringing a cat in, I would recommend that you ask for one of the other vets. I think he might be better suited to work with dogs. Other than that and being a little pricey, this is an overall good clinic. The rest of the staff was pleasant and good with my pet, and the facility was always clean. Most importantly, my pet always received the treatments and routine care that she needed without any complications.

Everybody in that office is wonderful. They are helpful and friendly and treat your pets as they would their own. I drive from Muskegon to go here. I won't go anywhere else. Affordable prices and friendly people. I give them A++++++++++++++++++++
