This motel doesn't deserve a star...The manager is aggressive and rude. My room had random trash and the previous occupants miscellaneous, forgotten possessions all over the place. The carpet had white chips and crumbs of the old, cracked walls and trim everywhere and the carpet wasn't even connected to the floors. There is a strict rule of no visitors so when my brother was hit by a car and just needed to come in to use my cell phone, the manager immediately banged on the door and told me to kick him out at that very moment. He then threatened to call the police on me because some neighborhood kids were standing near the front of the office and he assumed they were going to go up to my room. All throughout the night, the manager or staff would stand by my door or Windows to listen to whatever I was doing in there. The door to my room never seemed shut all the way and I never felt safe. I felt like anyone could just walk into the room. Both the front and bathroom doors were crooked and the measurements used when installing them were clearly incorrect. There was an uneven assortment of bath towels, washcloths, and face towels along with only 2 tiny travel sized bar soap and 2 ketchup sized packets of conditioning shampoo. The mini fridge power cable would pop every couple hours if plugged in. Not one power outlet was conveniently located or not being blocked by furniture. I had to go through a confusing and frustrating 45 min struggle just to turn the tv on. Over all, what bothered me the most was waking up with a giant irritated colony of some kind of bug bites across my entire back. This motel is beyond the worst and I wouldn't ever go back. Its terrifying at night and I felt as if I was being watched at all times. There aren't any words in any language of the world to describe how awful it was. $80 was what he offered to charge for 1 night, completely ridiculous.I had to barter like a pawn shop owner with him to get the price down to $65 and I don't think my stay would even be worth paying $20 for.

It's a clean room at a good price. It's better than alot of the others in the area. I've stayed here a number of times, during various visits to CA. The place is a little dated, but it's clean and the staff are friendly. And it's located near a variety of food places to please most appetites. :) I will gladly come back to this place when I'm around CA.
