- The Harpers Ferry Park Association (HFPA) is one of over 100 cooperating associations serving the National Park Service (NPS). These associations provide high-quality, NPS-approved publications, maps, videos, theme-related merchandise, and educational programs to help visitors understand the natural and cultural significance of our national parks. The mission of the Harpers Ferry Park Association is to enhance the visitor experience at Harpers Ferry National Historical Park by supporting the park’s interpretive and educational programs and providing aid to conservation and preservation projects. Harpers Ferry Certified Tours are the only tours in Harpers Ferry certified by the National Park Service. Spend 2.5 hours walking and talking about the many themes in town including John Brown, Civil War, Civil Rights, Early Transportation, the US Armory, plus a whole lot more.
