Horrible. First they charged me for a new thermostat - but that wasn't the problem. Turns out the thermostat that they charged me $78.00 for (plus an additional $50 for labor) I could have purchased from Home Depot for $33.00. Then another technician came out and tossed his co-worker under the buss telling me "he doesn't know anything and needs to retire". Changes a HVAC Switching Relay and charges me $187.00 for the switch and $125.00 for labor. Yet he leaves the empty relay box with the Grainger part number which I look up and lists for $22.86. Customer service no help, argued with me that the part in the box was different and they offer a 3-year warranty. But according to the box, it already comes with a 3-year warranty. They were not willing to bend on this. Technician didn't even bother to clean up the loose insulation that fell from my attic crawlspace. Customer service was on his side saying they were having a busy day and had to keep their schedule.

Peninsula Heating and Air installed the HVAC system in our new home in 2000. We have used them for all of our heating and air conditioning needs since that time. The office staff is friendly, courteous and quick to send a service person when you have a need. We have a maintence contract with them and a service person comes twice a year to clean the system. They are always prompt, do a good job and leave the area very clean after finishing their work. We will continue to use PHA for many years to come. Bobby and Sue, Yorktown
