I have taken my dog Milo twice to this Kennel. The owners are extremely friendly and the kennel is very clean. They took excellent care of my dog. They now know me by name when I call and are extremely pleasant. By the way the kennel is indoor/outdoor. I would highly recommend them!!Stephen

Do not board your pets here. My Grandmothers diabetic dog was to be boarded here for 1 week starting on Friday. On Wednesday she got a call that her dog was comatose and at the vet. My Grandmother was visiting me and I had to leave work and pick her up and rush to the vet. The dog was still barely conscious and we took him then to an emergency vet. He got better overnight at the emergency vet and we then took him to my regular vet on Thursday. He over nighted there and was doing better. All of a sudden he was lethargic and then had a seizure. All of the vets told us that he had hypoglycemia from being under fed and overmedicated. My vet said he couldn't say for sure without further costly testing, but that the dog could have suffered a seizure from brain damage caused by the hypoglycemia. The dog had to be put to sleep.

On Thursday, prior to the dog dying we went to Paws N Claws to retrieve his stuff. The owner was unapologetic and had zero empathy for what we were going through. I told her that the vets told us that it was hypoglycemia and she denied any responsibility. . She told me I ought to be happy the dog is alive instead of griping at her. I asked her to go get his things so we could leave. She then stated my Grandmother owed her money. I was completely shocked that she made Grandma pay for the boarding. She said "I took very good care of him for several days" at which point I laughed. She said she has40 dogs to care for and what do I want her to do? I replied she shouldn't be taking care of animals with special needs if she can't handle it. My poor 90 year old Grandmother was so stressed out and upset she paid not wanting to deal with conflict. The owner then advised me that I was not welcome back, but the rest of the family is. I told her none of us would ever come back. I was holding the door open for my Grandmother to go through and the owner approached me raising her hand as if she was going to push me out the door and I told her not touch me. She fumbled with her words finally saying she was going to hold the door open. Obviously I had the door. Grandma left her glasses on the counter and as I approached to door to get them she locked it and refused to give them back. I banged on the door and she relented giving the glasses back. My 90 yr old Gran paid over 1000.00 in bills and is heartbroken. She is too elderly to go throught the trauma of suing. DO NOT GO HERE the owner does not care about your pet or you. Zero customer service.

My 90 yr old Grandmother boarded her dog several times overnight at Paws and Claws while visiting me in Las Vegas.The dog was going to stay one week Friday to Friday. On Wednesday Grandma got a call from the owner stating she had to rush the dog to the vet and that he went into a diabetic coma. We had to pick him up from the vet and take him to an emergency vet. Luckily the dog pulled through and the vet bill cost 631.00. The emergency vet is open from 6pm-8am. I then had to pick up my dog and take him to another vet. That bill was approximately 320.00.We then went to Paws and Claws to retrieve the leash, insulin and blanket. Not only did the owner NOT apologize she was not empathetic and showed very little emotion or customer service. When I told her the vet said he had hypoglycemia from too little food and too much insulin she advised me it was not her fault. I said okay the vet must be wrong and she said she isn't there to argue. She went on to tell me that I should be thankful that the dog isn't dead instead of chewing her out. When she presented the bill of 111.00 dollars to my Grandmother I questioned her making my Grandmother pay and she then told me that she took good care of the dog for several days. My Grandmother just wanted to pay and leave. I argued a bit more with her finally stating that if she would have showed any compassion and maybe gave my Grandmother a break on the bill that Grandma would have been happy. The owner then told me that maybe the vet should give her a break on the bill. I then advised her the vet is not responsible for the care, that she is. She also advised me she has a lot of dogs, I believe she said 40, to take care of. She also told me I am not welcome back, but my Mother and Grandmother are. I stated we would never come back there so she wouldn't have to worry about seeing us again. She also raised her hand as to push me out of the door while I was holding it open for my Grandmother and I advised her not to touch me. Finally I had to go back in because my Grandmother left her glasses. She locked the door as I approached. Then refused to answer the door until I banged on it extremely hard demanding the glasses back. My Grandmother left her glasses on the counter and she retrieved them from the desk, so she knew full well that Grandma had left them. Shady business and NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED!

Thank you for the great time I had at Paws 'N Claws! I just love talking and running with the other guests. While my family is off having their vacation, I am enjoying my stay with my friends. Everything is always clean and friendly. Patty is my favorite because she brings my dinner and an extra rub and tickle. Then, before I went home, Jan fluffed me up so I was clean and groomed when my family picked me up! Thanks everyone. Can't wait for my next vacation.
