Kalihi-Palama Health Center was founded on this guiding principle — that everyone should receive the care they need and deserve. Located in Honolulu, HI, they serve more than 21,000 patients each year and have provided local citizens with quality care since 1975. The non-profit health center cares for their community and every single member of that community. They play an important part in the community by providing health care to those whose situation may prevent them from receiving treatment otherwise due to poverty. In 1988, they launched their Health Care for the Homeless Project, which provides accessible care to individuals and families that are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Through this program, they strive to reach those who would not be likely to receive health care from other providers, helping them address their immediate needs while reintegrating into the community. With a full range of health services, including routine checkups, mental health, and women’s health services, you can rely on this clinic to provide the medical care and attention you deserve.
