      General Info
      The Department of Neurology, located in Houston, is a part of the Baylor College of Medicine. The department trains medical students and provides a range of health care services to patients with neurological diseases. Its Huntington Disease Center offers various physical, occupational and speech therapies. The department also operates a Sleep Disorders Clinic that is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Additionally, the department offers various training programs in movement disorders, clinical neurophysiology, meuromuscular pathology and developmental epilepsy. The Department of Neurology also supports several clinical research projects on genetics, Alzheimer s disease and multiple sclerosis. Its Web site features special case studies and employment opportunities.
