this is a great place to take your pets for a little outing and get food, toys, etc. for a reasonable price. I would not suggest grooming. They charged me $10 to clip my cats back nails. They did it right in front of me in less than 10 seconds! Atleast they could act more professional and take them back to a grooming table! I do like that they have different sprays for every month for your pets so they can smell good when they come home all clean!



The store part of petco is decently organized, they have everything from dogs to ferret toys! The employees are nice, but since they swapped employees, I have been dissapointed. The new ones smell like ciagettes, and are boring and alittle rude. But they are helpful! and I guess thats all that matters! I would definately go check it out if you are new to pets, or if you just need to pick up some more kibble!



I would just like to say one last thing, on weekends from about 11-2 they have an organization that tries to get you to adopt cats and dogs (kittens and puppies too), so I adopted a kitten last summer. We were so excited to have him as a new family member, until we noticed a small lesion on his ear. We took him into our vets office (South Gessner pet clinic) and he was diagnosed with ringworm. we had been informed that one of his house-mates had ringworm, and that she had treated him for it, but she obviously didn't! We were dissapointed and later had a talk with her about it. I have not gotten a dog from them.
