Stageworks is not safe. I worked there as an intern in the summer of 2010. Anybody who comes to Stageworks to either work there or see a show is at risk. The Artistic Director's autistic nephew also lives in the building and gets violent whenever he gets angry. While I was working there, he came out of his room, tried to hit me, and also grabbed me. I was terrified because he's a 6'4" 23 year old man who can easily hurt you if he wanted to. Because he's autistic, he doesn't understand his actions and can go after anyone. I strongly encourage anybody thinking about going there not to if you don't want to take the chance of getting hurt.
