I've have a both a dog and a cat that are under the care of Dr. Combs and I couldn't be happier. Dr Combs and her staff continually impress me with their dedication to job and common sense approach to animal care. Dr Combs and her staff have always made me feel like they are geniunely concerned about my pets welfare, and the relationship I have with my pets. Dr Combs has had my loyalty since she told my girlfriend and I that she didn't care where we purchased preventative meds for the pets (either from her office or online) as long as we obtained them. She went on to say she was not a sales person and she didn't depend on the sale of the preventative meds from a business standpoint. She stated she was a vet, and she depends on her knowledge and experience to promote her business. I really like her relaxed demenor and that she will take the time to explain everything to the owners. I consider myself pretty lucky to have Dr Combs as my vet.

Dr. Combs and her staff are leaps and bounds above any other vet clinic/hospital in Huntsville. For the quality of service my pets receive I would expect to pay hundreds to thousands of dollars. I have taken my cats and dogs there since 2001 and would not even consider taking them anywhere else. Also, like any pet owner, I was concerned the first time I had to board my animals, but after I witnessed the great care they had with my animals, I know this is the place to board my animals. I know they take better care of my pets than if I were to leave them with family or friends. They give them love and attention like you would hope someone would. Also, the knowledge of Dr. Combs is the highest of any vet in the business. She and her staff also helps the owners when we have to make the difficult decisions. I recommend you use Winchester Animal Hospital regardless of where you live in the North Alabama/South TN area. The quality of service out weighs any distance you travel.

Just wanted you to know how caring and giving this vet is. She is an amazing vet and wouldn't dream of taking our dogs anywhere else. She is kind, caring, and loving to every animal she sees in her practice. My dogs go crazy when they know they are going to see her. An us humans like her alot too. She can fix the pets right up no problem. She can also show true compassion when we owners have to make the difficult choices of letting go too. She is a truly a pet's best friend.

Dr. Combs has been a wonderful doctor to our pets. In particular, she saved the life of our Husky when he was 2 after he had gotten out of the fence and had been run over by a truck. He lived with us for nearly 9 more wonderful years thanks to her caring efforts and those of her staff who always went above and beyond in helping both of our dogs through various sicknesses and health issues over the years. Always very caring and very proactive - she is quite simply the best in the business. As a Huntsville native and a long-time pet owner, I've seen many but Dr. Combs and her staff excel at customer service. Everyone we have worked with, from the assistants to the people answering the phone - seem to love animals. All animals. Dr. Combs is not only extremely knowledgeable about different types of animals, but she also shows a very caring attitude toward them.
